Who remembers one of these?

I used to have one of these and my boy would love one if I could get one from somewhere but had a quick look and nothing on Ebay. If I remember, you could also play it in the dark as the car had headlamps. Anyone got one?

My Dad got me one of those when I was aboutseven or eight years old, I loved it.

Later, when I was about 16 we were at a campsite and he asked me if I wanted to have a drive of his car (a Ford Consul). I got in the seat, and just drove; he was amazed; said how did you know how to drive, and I said I been watching you for over ten years I should know!!

Yes, good memories as I remember doing almost the same thing on a large field. If they brought this game back, I am sure it would take off again. Need to get one now to keep the family tradition going

We bought the modern version that was released just before christmas for our son. It's now calledGT5.

Andrew, Would you believe they use something like that out here to test your reflexes when you reach 70 to see if you are still fit to drive a car (and NO I am not 70, but a neighbour is).I have not personally seen the device itself, but from it's decription it must be something like the one you have shown.
