Rediculous postal service

Today the post office finally remembered who I am and where I live. Amongst a whole load of stuff from November and December including a couple of Christmas cards, I actually received the December issue of the magazine and I only live half a mile from the sorting office. Just a month late for ordering anything in Rimmers sale:X

What I find most amazing is that a week and a half of snow puts them 2 months behind with deliveries!!

If you get in quick, they'll pay the VAT for you until the end of January.

I remember watching a documentary last year where someone went undercover in a sorting depot. I couldn't believe how the post office employees would do anything to avoid delivering mail if there was the slightest opportunity, due to weather conditions.

To be honest the mail guys up with me are pretty good, if they can't get their van up the hill at my place they park it up and walk up, nothing said about ice or snow. No grumps or complaints they just laugh it off
