Looks quite good but it's wrong wheel drive. Martin.
Not when you see it has a Lyon reg number.........
But pricey compared with the Corgi Vanguard models, and they did two Tahiti Blue ones - open and hard top versions. They haven't brought out any more Stag models since the Damson Mk1 over a year ago.

I got a quote for a one off from Corgi & Java for the 40th National. The cheapest was Corgi 9.50 plus V.A.T. with a minimum quantity of 1000 (a bit above the budget)
Dave, in answer to your the soft top question....No, I have all the Stag models except the white metal. Never seen a soft top up...
The early Corgi models in blue had a production problem with the chrome peeliing off both wheels and bumpers of both the hard & soft (Top down) models. Both were Mk2's, the Norev as previously stated isleft hand drivea Mk1.The only other left hand drive model is the 1:18 scale model by Revell, also in Tahiti Blue.
Apparently, two (2) other 1:18 scale models by Jedi were due for release last year but were shelved (Yellow & Green) not sure of the exact colours, but with any luck theymay hit the market this year.
With regards to a limited run for a special Code 2 model for the club........
(Code 1 - is a manufactured by say Corgi - open Market, any one can buy from dealers, Code 2 - is a Promotional model, manufactured by Corgi and limited to the Company / Club that requested the production run, and Code 3, a code 1 or 2 model, converted/resprayed by an individual or company, other than the production company - i.e. "Creaks of Camberly" etc and is usually a one off)
Anyway's were was I
Provding enough members by the Code 2 modelsat £9.50, say 500+, (Some may well buy 2 or 3 as an investment) it reduces the available models to the open market, which automatically puts the price up....reduce the available models too, say 100on the open market, ie 900 sold within the club and you may well find the race is on,.....prices will go up due to the scarcity value, especially to a must have hardened Vanguard collector who wants every model in his collection,..... and on the rare occassions prices can go through the roof, depending on how many must have collectors there are.
If this model was based on say Tony Hart's racing Stag....it would make it more desireable...more collectors, must haves and collectors of racing models.....then the value of the model could go up even more.
Perhaps another solution is to rope in a company like Modelzone, the high street chain of model shops. They woukd have the exclusive, with a guarenteed sale to the club of 400 - 500 models which only leaves them with 500 to shift...not so difficult for a nationwide company with a popular collectorsweb site.
I must say, I am still very interested in this project.....would need the "Club" & perhaps Tony on board, ...oh, and enough interest from club members to make it viable.
