    seat re stuffing

Picked up my seats from the guy at Sandown yesterday and i a very pleased with them.
He re did the back seat base and back, just stripped and re foamed. Both the front seats were stripped, new webbing in the bases, re foamed base and backs and made new map pockets. he also repaired a split in the base and in the side by the chrome lever.
the whole lot 120. (sorry no pound sign)
I did have a quick sit when i put them in the car (not fitted) and i reckon i will sit 2" higher now.

Thanks for the contact. I was a bit slow on the uptake there as I meant Sandown Esher ... whereas of course you mean Sandown Isle of Wight! Not quite so convenient for me! However the contact may be of help to others. Thanks again

I thought that was a bit of a commute, still it would have given you time to read the paper on the ferry.

Well, as if to outdo my220 mile daily journey,my brother commuted from the Island to central London every day.

However, whereas I drove for about 22 years, he took the easy option and did the mainland leg on the train, and only did it for about 10 years- wimp

                    Cheers

                    Julian
