Window channel rubber

Before I start wrestling with it, can we buy new window channel rubber which will fit the Stag window frames ?

Sorry if that's a daft question - I suspect I feel another salvage job coming on............

I posted a similar thread last year and got the same response as you so far.

The answer is yes, most of the usual suppliers sell window channel rubbers. Are they the same as the original? No. And I've been sent many sample contenders for the job.

Paddock's option seem close, but even their rubbers need some fettling before fitting which is a real pain. They're the ones I fitted, they'll do.
I would how ever suggest that you take another look at your existing ones, your glass will be usually either raised to the closed position or lowered to wide open, if the glass rattles in the frame in the closed position then you might have a problem, usually the window motor forces the glass against the frame sufficiently enough to prevent vibration, in the lowered position the channels don't usually wear. It's the partly open window that would rattle and only if that is a real annoyance would I consider changing them. Unless they are damaged or as in my case covered by over spray from some other idiots previous resto attempt, I would suggest you leave them alone.

rimmers bros ones to small they just fall out i think paddocks ok but still have to glue in with window sealant if not you can always remove the sealant if it makes it to stiff.
