True! I wanted to get down the pit but it has a few inches of water in it so no go, it is wide as it is really for HGV's so it is close to the other wheel too! My sprayer goes over it all the time though as it is the only way in or out, just hope it's not mine that drops down .
Just been re-assembling the rear bumper after chroming, I only took it apart two weeks ago and don't seem to be able to find half the bits already - ah well, I'll get there!!

Rear bumper rechromed, new rubbers and assembled ready for the rest of the car, everything in fact, rechromed except the front bumper which is good. A tip to anyone delaying the inevitable, get the re-chrome before it really needs doing, that way you avoid pitting of the metal from rust, the bumper looks like new but could have lasted a couple more years on the car, however by then it may not have re-chromed so well. I got them done by an e-bay seller in Essex, chromeworld, he was excellent value and a quick turnaround. The hard top plates have a few pits in them but look far better than they did, the bonet scuttle has come up well too. Now when is my sprayer going to be finished, I told him not to hurry!!!!!!!!:shock:Attached Files
