Radio Bezel/Insert

Just a quick note to share a recent find. :shock:Sorry if already posted but it did not come up when I looked.

I just purchased off Ebay a Radio insert/bezel/adaptor to fit a modern day Radio/CD player into the stag.

The seller is feredayc

I have to say it took longer to get it out of the packaging than to fit it into the Stag. Great product and apparently developed by the seller who has invested in the tooling. ( correct me if Im misled). However fantastic product. Just a note if you look for it on ebay, check sellers other items as it can be listed against Triumph 2000/2500 as well as Stag.

Would highly recommend.

Hi All,

Just wanted to thank Dave for his excellent feedback.

Many of you may already know me and have bought one of these inserts, but I just wanted to let you know that there is a new version available (which Dave purchased) that has been machined from an automotive grade plastic. As a result it is much stronger than the previous version and the tolerances are much finer.

This has enabled us to make it fit both the Stag and the 2000/2500 as, believe it or not, the aperture sizes in the dashes of the cars are slightly different in size (good ol' Triumph)!:shock:

I have to admit, that getting the new versions made took over 10 months of delays, frustrated phone calls and failed prototypes to get to where we are now.:?

The will beavailable through the usual channels shortly.

I just got one of these too, not fitted yet as I want to do the dash some more before I do the final fitting of the radio.

Hi Steve,

You can buy them from the SOC, LDPart, James Paddock or myself.

I've heard that Rimmers sell them, but I do not supply to them (work that one out if you can.....)

Currently LDPart, James Paddock and myself are selling the new version.

No problem, Ive seen many posts on quality issues with after market parts, trust me my oil pump issues nearly cost me another rebuild. We should all support and promotegood parts and good service from suppliers who help us keep the Stags on the road and tell each other of the bad ones, they dont deserve the business.
