Quill Shaft Tool

I've just been putting the rear suspension back together and used a quick to make tool for tightening the quill shaft nut. This could also be used for the diff to halfshaft flanges.

I was lucky in that I had some yokes lying arounds but I figured that if anyone was working in this area there's a good chance they would be overhauling some ujs on either the prop or halfshafts.

That's very neat, I used an old piece of Dexion that I had knocking about.

I used a bit of rectangular section steel form B&Q (I had to cut a notch in it after I took the pic so I could get the socket on the nut!)

also doubles up as a stilson handle extension to hold the front pulley when changing the VC (Sorry - best pic I have got!)
