Hello,
I'm new here. I am from the Netherlands. I own a Stag for 3 weeks now. It is a car from 1975 and sold in Switserland. It has had 3 owners over there. The previous owner for me had it for 10 years. He bought the car in the Swiss and took it to the Netherlands. He sold the stag for a audi A4 convertible with a local garage. And that is the place where I found it and bought it. It is a nice looking car. Quit original. There are some point I had to work on but nothing major as far as I can see for now. The first thing to do is replacing all hoses under the hood. And fit an new radiator with a headertank which I bought from V mad. Adjusting the Strombergs and timing. And some other small jobs. This all had to be ready before spring.
I am not completely new to the Triumph business. In the past I owned a Spitfire MKIII and a Triumph Vitesse MK2 convertiblewith a stage 2 SAH tuning kit from the 70's. This was a very quick car. But not ideal for driving it with a baby. SoI sold it and bought a Toyota Paseo convertible. A rare car wich drives nicely and no mechanical problems. But it is a modern car. I did not like it as much as my Triumphs. So that is the reason for selling it and buying a Stag.
So I'm back in the Triumph business.
I saw that there is lot of knowledge over here. If I need it I will ask you guys, if you don't mind.
