    Carmine Colour

I know this is a bit of a long shot - but does anyone happen to know if Vauxhall Carmine Red is very similar to ours?

The reason I ask is that my car was resprayed before I got it. The colour is very similar and you would not know it was not right but it is a very slightly different shade under the bonnet (original). I suppose mine is slightly more brown tint rather than the original that is a little more purple but it is very close. Even with the bonnet up you do not really notice, it is that close but obviously I cannot get touch up to match, what I have got is a perfect match for under the bonnet! I know it could just be the mix of the paint but I just wonderd if the guy got the body shop to paint it Carmine and that was the only Carmine available.

The "ingredients" (mixing formula) for Triumph Carmine Red 82 and Opel/Vauxhall Carmine Red 9ND are VERY different!
    The answer isn't 42, it's 1/137

thanks Drew - it was just a thought, as i say they are very close so I assume it was just the mix of the paint when it was resprayed then

        Hi
I have used it on my stag when I was making up backets for new header tank. Its a bit more red in colour, you could not use it on the body alright but for out of the way places it is ok
