    Engine stand

My engine (auto box) is currently on a trolley and I want to attach it to an engine stand. Am I right in thinking the way to do this safely is to remove the torque converter and drive plate and attach the stand to the rear of the block?

I bolt the engine stand to the alloy adaptor plate, I am using an auto box adaptor plate on the engine I am currently building, as I don't have a spare manual one. There are a good choice of bolt holes on which to fix the arms of the engine stand.

        Many thanks.
The rear of the engine seemed the way to go because of pulleys on the front and available bolt holes being on the cylinder heads.
