    Hi Sean,
Great to see a new member on board. They truly are a great machine, I'm sure it will be a long lasting love affair.
Good time of year to buy one as well. Exciting times or what? - enjoy it

    all the best,

Welcome from me as well Sean and, as iIron Maiden has said, "if the stag virus gets you then i am afraid you will have it for life" but it's a fabulous bug (most of the time) !

I was working on them in a Triumph dealer when you first saw one and 40 years later I got my second one. Be prepared for your love affair to last that long !

        Cheers

        Julian

Sorry, I don't know the area at all. My reply was tongue-in-cheek. Mare St, not somewhere you want to go after dark. i.e. Nightmare St. My humour is sometimes a bit obtuse...........

E Type or Stag always been two of my favourites, unfortunately, could'nt afford an E Type LOL.
But the Stag gives me just as much of a buzz. 1978 my mates dad turned up in a Piminto Red one, boy was I envious, took me 30 years before I managed to buy one and at 3 x the original price, but probably 3 x the fun now ha ha

Yep Sean is the new owner of my Stag
I'm well happy that Sean has bought it and know it's going to a great home and will be well looked after.
Once I get the knowledge done and get back on my feet I will defo get another Stag - might even try buying this one back although I doubt there will be much chance of that
Its all ready to go tomorrow and I hope you enjoy it Sean

Defo stay in touch as well as I will still drop in here to see what's going on in the world of Stags

Very similar experience - drove my Dad's Stag (illegally) when I was about 18 and fell in love with the noise ! Happy ending is that I'm restoring my Dad's actual car. Sadly he isn't around to see it finished - I may not be either if it takes me much longer...........
