Just back from a car audio specialists ... decided to have it fitted with new wiring for the whole system plus new speakers all round. All-in incl 3 hours labour, 4 new speakers (forgot name but they are a slim 4" design for doors plus 2 rears too), OFC copper cabling etc ... £250 'ish ...

Just to round this off ... and start a new thread too ...

Got the Stag back from the audio people today ... Pioneer sounds good, has JL Audio speakers in the back, an electric aerial that works! plus the iPod adaptor ... all this very discrete and blends in with the car ... one prob though ... as there always is!

The guy who had the car before me installed speakers into the doors above the arm rests - problem is the amount of depth and clearance for speakers is almost non-existent - apart from the ones fitted (maystar - who are they?) - my audio guy doesn't think he can find a set to fit!

Other than that though a great audio system!
