Probably a daft question but how do you know you've received a private message without going to private messages. Terry

Roger, as I didn't get a reply to my message sent to the stagadmin pm and I see you're active here, here my question:
Hi guys,
when the new forum started up and we were having problems in with pm's due to the limit of, I think 50, I dutifully created a separate folder entitled "Old Forum Inbox" and transferred all my old messages there to free up my Inbox.
I now need a few telephone numbers for Stoneleigh and find that this folder I created is EMPTY !
It seemed to have happened about the time you changed the settings and raised the permitted number of messages.
I think the pm sent to stagadmin goes to Carl, but not 100% sure will check it out but Carl is away for a couple of days, haven't got a clue about your folder there again maybe Carl can help.........................Which is no help to you at the moment, but if you want to PM me the details I will try to find the numbers for you.

You had me worried there for a minute Drew as I did exactly the same as you.
However I've just checked and mine are still there in my newly created 'archive folder' - phew !
