    Hi Stu,
i'm not a fan of these, i fitted them to my BMW. on the rear, then nearly lost the rear end on a damp road. i think the rubber was a hard mix, IMHO, i never had that problems with the Dunlops

you're lucky on that count i know a few of the guys on here have been looking for ages for those, i did get used to them, but i never really trusted them, i just altered the driving to suit, in the dry they were fantastic though i must say that, full of grip and they outlasted the Dunlops

Toyo do a decent tyre 195 70 R14 for around £50 a corner, slightly wider so more grip and with the 70 profile the rolling diameter is virtually identical to standard so no speedo misread. Very good in both wet & dry, we've been using these on our Stag for 6 years now and can thoroughly recommend them. The actual tyres we have appears to no longer available but seems to have been replaced by

certainly the tread pattern looks indistinguishable

In my opinion, the Toyo tyres are much better value than the cheaper Nankang which I ruled out as 'cheap and cheerful' - I think Nankang became popular on Stags only due to lack of alternative manufacturers in the unfashionable size of 185x80 R14 (other than harder van tyres)
