well now i've had my stag for a couple of days its time to start getting down and dirty with it, so carrying on with the good work Darren (previous owner) did, ive ordered a stagweber carb and new cooling system from chris spain, ive also ordered some bits from warren @ triumphstagshop including chromed cam covers (warren, as agreed my old ones are your as is the old carb). the stag is then going to the local garage to have a couple of bits done that were mentioned in the mot. short term plan is to get it tweeked here and there, long term is to give it the same superior detailing that goes into the replica Cobras out there. so, sorry to Darren if ya reading this i know ya wanted first refusal if i were to sell it i wont be letting er go for a very loong time if ever. also steve aka stagmuffin has invited me up to see the conversion he's doing which is right up my street
