ignition lock roll pin remove?

For some time I've wanted to get a matching ign & door key.
Missed a set on ebay recently

Now I'm going to attempt to build a set.

Before I start....what methods have proven sucessful if any, when removing the ign lock (blind) roll pin?

a very fine drill and steady hand but i ended up buying another

A roll pin is quite a hard bit of metal though & my cobalt drills only go down to 2.5mm

Anybody manage to grip and pull? theres about 3mm out on the lock i have to try.

You dont need to drill the roll pin out; just drill the alloy body then remove roll pin with a thin dirft. Seal it all up afterwards using JBWeld, you will net even see the repair.

Its funny but the roll pin all but fell out!
Its all apart now....can anyone help with a quantity of wards / old locks please?
