plastic door handle smalll white rollers

Have purchased some new chromed door bowls and plasctic lift handles.

Can i simply use a nut and bolt to replace the rivet which holds the small white roller or will a nut and bolt fowl when its all assembled?
Can you buy replacement rivets from anywhere?

Yes you can i fitted a pair of the metal lift handles using a nut and bolt to hold the white rollers
