    Hood frame fitting problem

    Hi
I am in the process of fitting my hood and frame to my car and it will not go up or down without jamming and need some advice or photos of how the torsion springs fit in relation to the mechanism as the previous owner had dismantled the frame. I have read in the haynes manual that I might need a "jig bolt" are these available from anyhere and what do they do?

Is there a set routine of adjusting and fitting the whole assembly?
(PS the hood is already on the frame)
    Cheers Glen
