It's coming up to MoT time for my Stag, and having booked a test for next Saturday, I left it later than I should to check over (& under) the car. Horror of horrors, I found a steering rack gaiter split on Saturday afternoon, and 'phoning around local owners failed to find a spare one. Normal postal supplied items would probably leave me too little time to fit it in time for the test. A 'phone call to Peter Howells found that he had them in stock, and he kindly offered to meet me at Oxford services on Sunday morning with a pair of them; top man! Later that afternoon I had it fitted and ready for the test. Thank you Peter for your great service. Let's hope the MoT inspector doesn't find something else wrong...
