    Both "Doh!" and "Success"!!!!

    Hi All

The weather has been beautiful here in Cheshire todayand opon arriving home from the factory I was determined to get the Stag out of the garage for an evening run. The plan was to take my son and dog to feed the ducks and a walk at Nantwich lake.

Opened up the garage, got in the Stag but it would not start. GRRRRRRR. Thought, "Sod it" will go in the Nissan instead. As I was closing the door I suddenly remembered the kill switch that I had installed a week ago. Ah ha!!! Hey presto the car started first time and off we went for a drive.

So, DOH for forgetting about the switch, and SUCCESS for proving that the kill switch works.

I read this thread a few days ago and smiled to myself as I've done this a few times. Today I went to set up the ignition having removed the dizzy when I needed to tip the engine to remove the gear box and was cursing the electronic ignituion unit and the PO who'd wired it in when I remembered the kill switch which is in the feed to the ignition unit! At least I ended up tidying the wiring a bit!
