Having enjoyed posting a few perky comments on recent queries I nearly forgot why I logged in. The thing is this.
During a recent visit to my house, two of my grand-children made apposite comments aboutmy Stags. Regarding the white Stag, my5 year old grand-daughter announced that it was the same colour as my hair. Regarding the red Stag my 4 year old grand-son - eagle eyed as ever - enquired 'what were the bubbles on the edges of the passenger door for'. Charming.
I am looking into a product called Grecian 2000 that may sort out the white Stag problem (do you pour it over the car or do you have to scrub it in?) but I needadvice on the door skin problem.
Am I correct in thinking you can't buy door edge repair panels? If so, is it better to weld in new metal or is it better to replace the entire skin. There have been so many stories of badly fitting skins that I feel reluctant to go down this route. Your wonderful advice will be gratefully received as ever.
