Hopefully last wiring question

Thanks to all who have helped with fusebox wiring and wiring colours generally.

I now need help with the overall wiring structure from battery to fusebox, including alternator and starter motor. I have all of my wires labelled, but I am unclear about things like the alternator control box (?) and the ignition control box, and how the various brown wires come together to connect to the live battery terminal. Does the battery earth to the stud on the offside wheel arch, and also where does it earth on the engine ?

Does anyone have a simple note or schematic about this, or am I stuck with interpreting the wiring diagram in the manual ?!

The earth goes from the battery to the stud on the inner wing then to one of the alternator fixing bolts

Thanks guys. That's the best colour wiring diagram I've seen, with descriptions of components instead of numbers. I've just printed it in colour on A3 and it will be great. John - thanks for the alternator bolt tip - just tightened it all up nicely - never mind !
