Prescott hill climb

Did anyone reading this attend the hill climb last May?

It was a very enjoyable day and it would be great to do it again or maybe a track day instead, what do you think?

We had quite a low turnout so although I had nothing to do with the organization I am just seeing if anyone is interested in principle, if enough of us agree maybe it could happen.

Last time the tr register were involved, how about other triumph clubs? personally i would love to see spitfires gt6s and dolly sprints etc strutting their stuff alongside our stags

sorry for any misunderstanding as far as I know nothing has been organised yet, I was just hoping enough interest was out there for something to happen again this year.

last time it was hoped we would have 50 stags and 50 trs, unfortunately only a fraction of that number was achieved.

if anyone else fancies it please post a reply and maybe last years organisers will do their stuff again.

sorry if that is presumptuous of me, just hoping really!

The wife and I attended Prescott last May, and had a great day out.

The old girl was very tired at the end, that’s the car not the wife.

She was very brave to sit in the passenger seat with the camera.

I would be interested in a day out at Prescott,it is always enjoyable there.I would probably only want to spectate though until I have sorted a few problems out with the Stag

Prescott is near Winscombe in Gloucestershire, so not too far from me!

I have just looked at the prescott hill climb website and there is a classic car event on sunday 13 may, priced at £30 and there are 45 places available as i write this perhaps this is a simple option for anyone interested ( open to pre 1980 vehicles )

I need to check my own commitments but I hope that I can make it and that maybe I will see some other stags there.

Just checked out the web site and if im reading it right it's £15 for static display in the paddock and £30 for the hill climb.

Ishould be able to make it (i'll go for the static as my diff's on its knee's).Hopefully meet some of you guys there.

I'd love to go as I missed the previous events (SOC National and the TR event) but I have long ago agreed to take my Wife to see Il Divo in Cardiff13th May. I must have been p****d!

Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately I was unable to attend the Prescott meeting last May, as other events clashed with the date,but the SOC National Day held therewas one of the best I've ever attended. However, the good news is that I understand plans are well underway for a Triumph Marque Day to be held there next May (2008).

Will be there too and will be doing the Run out on the Saturday if we get there in time.

Looks good but wont be pushing the car too hard, might need new tyres afterwards if I do
