speede cable

Hi chaps

Almost ready for engine and gearbox to go back in, can anyone tell me the correct route for speedo cable?
I've read somewhere on here about it going through the bulkhead with a grommet.
It currently goes through transmission tunnel.
I have a '77 mark II MOD

Hi John

I did mine recently. Essentially there's a (say) 1.5 inch hole where the front bulkhead joins the transmission tunnel. It's to the left of the clutch pedal, right in the corner. If you pull back that piece of carpet, (if you can), you should find it easily, There's a standard part grommet that fits this hole if you want to replace it from LD Parts - part 602037.
