    Goodwood Breakfast

Is anyone going to the Goodwood Breakfast meeting this Sunday? Theme is soft tops!!

I'll be going. I am theoretically leading the SE London Contingent, but I have no idea if anyone is going yet - apart from me. It depends who can face the horribly early start!

This would be my only lie in this weekend but if the weather is as good as last weekend I could be up for it.

      Cheers Steve

I'm away in Somerset to see my Mum for Mothers Day, so can't make this one.

I am up for this, providing not peeing down.

            Anyone else going?

            John.

Forecast looks good. Shall we congregate/meet somewhere? I usually go though the tunnel, and park in or by the sheds, but the marshalls will probably try to direct us onto the track if we get there early enough.

Great day, despite the horribly early start. Some great cars there. The Zonda turned a few heads.

As usual I took far too many photos, but they are all here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/2565836...th/5585099311/

Wow, some mouth watering metal there Dave! I must make an effort to go to the next one - it's only 20 miles from me. It was my best mate's birthday yesterday and I didn't get to bed until 2 this morning so this one was never going to happen!

                    Cheers,

                    Bob

That sounds like a valid excuse!

What amazed me is how quiet the Zonda was. Considering how quick a car it was, at walking pace it was about as loud as a Ford Fiesta. I guess the 'Loud Pedal' is very appropriate in this case!!!

The Vintage Bentleys were my faves.

Good photos Dave. Am I getting old or do Jag XJS convertibles look really good?

I've always liked them. If I was in the market for a V12 I would start my search there I reckon.
