    Dinitrol underseal

I am just about to underseal my car, i have seen several threads on whats best. I have decided to get the Dinitrol kit.

Anyone have an idea of how many litres are needed, i am guessing at 3 * 1 litre cans, thoughts?

I will also steam clean under the car and wire brush any bits if required first ( i dont think i have any rust under there, fingers crossed) if i do find any rust and wire brush it i assume that a hammerite type paint is sufficient to touch any areas up, or should i do it all with hammerite after the steam clean and before the underseal?

Is it also worth taking the S/S sill covers off and treating under those? If so, what with?

    Thanks

I bought my kit from frost ,then saw it a lot cheaper from here and they throw in the spray gun .:X

Spray gun is a must BTW

I used both litres of the base coat but only 1 out of the 3 of the black top coat .also one tin of the cavity wax which is very thin and still dripping out of the boot lid.

I think it would be worth looking under the sill covers, if all is well at least you will have peace of mind. See this thread - make sure you are sitting down first:shock:. http://stagownersclub.mywowbb.com/forum1/1114.html

I took mine off and found this. Not as bad though.

The sills were intact so still structurally sound!

Has anyone used this vortz vapourlube?????

we do have a site but it is still very new so is only coming up on Google searches at the moment, if on Google we are at www.aacworks.com there is a load of information on there about it all, should you have any problems please let me know and i will send it to you. Our Kit works out at £92.50 delivered to the uk mainland, our DF1 which is a capillary agent for the actual rust inhibiter is used for any closed off panels or box section. this DF1 is £40.00 + delivery. Our DF2 is the inhibiter, it stets but at the same time stays wet. The DF2 is £35.00 + delivery. You may find this quite expensive but it really does work better then anything else i have ever tried and that is why i have started to sell it. many thanks Brad
Page takes a little while to load seem to be good stuff though.

Reason that i like most is thatyou can cut and weld with this in sills ect. without turning stag into a bomb unlike waxoyl
