Cheers mate , wasn't sure how it was going to effect me ! It wasn't so fast over the limit and the stag kph on the speedo is a bit hit or miss so I guess I will need to wait it out and see what happens .

Yes sounds like a plan but the clip broke on the underside of the car and allowed the speedo cable to fall on the exhaust this melted the outer plastic cover and the heat melted the grease so the cable was jumping about from 0 to 120 !

garmin sat nav doesnt show speed on same screen as maps and was looking for the junction information from sat nav so couldnt have speed showing hey ho , Ive driven trucks in Europe 25 years on and off and never had so much as a parking ticket , its just my professional pride hurting lol.
