I have now made up a couple of linkages for the ZF transmission cable. These will connect directly to the cable nipple, so the extra ZF cable link arm is not needed and needs to be removed. You may need to drill a new hole in the bracket to mount the cable in a new position as it seems the cable is longer than the Borg Warner one.
I will send one to stagunhalf with the Weber kit, and perhaps John (koy23) would like to try the other (shall I post it to you John?). Please try them, and post a picture so I can see if they fit OK.

I had a chap call in today to buy a Weber kit, and he had a GM auto gearbox on the back of his stag engine. I didnt expect to be able to help with the cable linkage, but when I had a look at it, it looked the same as the ZF! I never met anyone with a GM transmission before; it seems to be very similar to the ZF; 4-speed with overdrive and lockup.
I gave him the same link as the one I made for the ZF, and he will let me know how he gets on.
