Front strut gaitor

Has anyone found a supplier of front strut gaitors which last more than 12 months by any chance?

I will be having the struts apart soon and would like to fit gaitors which actually last!!

Same question for the air intake bellows?

I ordered a silicone one from EJ Ward but they're out of stock and don't know when they'll get new ones.

The ones from LD parts seem to be made from a plastic material rather than rubber, so may last.

Thanks for the reply...I thought that might be the case as I have tried them from a couple of places, I suppose they are all made in the same place. Could this be a project for SOCTFL?

I fitted new strut gaitors from Tony Hart in December 2008. Still fine..........

The rebuilt suspension, that I still haven't fitted, has new gaitors from LDparts. Yet to find out how long they will last.

i know what you mean.... mine have split after about 18 months..... i have some replacements on the to-do list - they are from LDpart but i hadn't noticed that they were a differnt texture to the last pair i had - i must take a closer look !

Replaced mine last year about Aug/Sept ish. Just been doing some other work on the brakes and I can see that the N/s has started to split already and the car has only done about 100 miles in the mean time!!!
Did I see on here somewhere that someone had fitted the gaiters from a steering rack?
If you find any that are good please tell.
