    BW 35 Clunk

I've noticed a clunk coming from the auto box when slowing down.Happens as soon as the car stops. Just wondered if it was the torque converter about to give up? Some one said the "belts" could be adjusted on these. Forever confused Mike

A thin Red colour I replaced it last year. AQF from Comma I think it was.

At least the brake bands aren't burning out. Appeal to Russ, (Kryten) he's the expert. Martin.

Hi Mike, where the kickdown cable joins the carb bracket, there should be a tiny crimped collar on the inner cable, this should be set so that it is JUST above the outer, of course if it's gone AWOL you'll need to suck it and see. Martin.
