I have now had my car up to normal working temprature, now it`s cooled down do i need to re-torque the head bolts, whats the best torque wrench setting and what else do i need to do.
Yes, Adrian. The heads should be re-torqued after first hot/cold cycle; figures as per the ROM. Then again after about 500 miles.
As for other checks, just the normal fluid and leak checks, but as you have taken care with the assembly I wouldn't expect to find any.......leaks that is.

That's the way I would do it Adrian. They haven't been fitted long enough to worry about 'stiction', so a straightforward check, without backing off, should be OK.
If there are any with other ideas I am sure they will be along in a minute or two......
