Missed another stag, must be quicker next time, the last one went to the pork pie village were they have the magic dust that makes them worth twice as much.
must get some of that dust for my oil burner c220cdi.

and im sure you will see more of them ive come across quite a few,and one i went to view recently for 10k owner was telling me it was just the best and my son and i wasted a day on a 150 mile round trip with 10k in my pocket the owner described it as imaculate throughout i was so sure i insured it as well when i got to it i couldnt see the under side for thick black undereal /worn out chrome flaking paint under the bonnet inner wings etc etc just a another overhyped 7k motor but there are some good ones to be had for the right price . keep trying you will come up trumps in the end.

Hi Steve, just frustrated i guess, always seem to miss out, will keep looking, but would like to get one before national as all booked in, with no car, been getting my garage ready, carpet tiles on the floor, insulating the roof etc, anyway back to the search.

Don't give up Martin - it took me over 8 months to find mine. You're definitely after an auto aren't you? The guy who lives at the bottom of the road from me has been thinking about selling however it's a manual.

Don't give up mate, it will happen, I must admit that I bought the first car I actually went to see, but did a lot of ground work before I went out with cash in hand. I spoke at length with selling owners, requested specific pictures, and also put a wanted add in Classic Car weekly, it paid off as when I went to see my car it was "as described" and most importantly a solid body, I stripped it last year for a respary and still found no horrors.
