    Good for you ! I'm in the late stages of rebuilding my Dad's 1977 Mk 2 Tahiti Blue manual o/d - sounds like you got a better starting point than I did ! Mine was a colander.............

              It has all it's original panels and has not been restored.My Uncle has rebuilt the engine,with gas flowed heads,and has resprayed it to a very high standard.He fitted the wheels in 1980.They are made by Wolfrace and are fitted with period Michelin 205 70 14 tyres,courtesy of Longstone tyres.
