Thanks for the pics which are very useful. I don't have any rear belts in mine hence why I asked. I thought the top fixing would be velco straps - where did you get yours from?
Can you expand (ho ho ho!) on where the elastic bands go?

Do you get any rattles from the installation?
Ian
Hi Ian ,do you mean where did i get the rear belts? If so they came with the car.Elastic bands go around 2 pegs that stick out either side (obviously for some method of fixing it to the audi) down by the hard top clamp plates. No rattles at all and i'm sure you could use it without the seat belts as it wants to stay down anyway almost as if it is being pushed down by the other fixings.
Ian I have about 6 metere length of Velcro, it's about 25mm width. If you need some let me know how long and I'll post down, but I can't send it all as I have a cunning plan for some of it LOL
I am going to see if I can find some tomorrow as I want to get the deflector intalled before the weekend but, if not providing it doesn't scupper your cp a couple of lengths about 200mm should do the trick.
Finally won an Audi wind deflector on e bay after losing bids on at least 40, no exaggeration. Had a limit and stuck to it, some went for silly money.
The top half (the bit that does the work) fits the profile of the T bar perfectly and I have only fitted 2 'catches' to the spring bolts, one either side of the deflector and it does not move, tested at 70mph today. The wind force behind the screen 'pushes' it against the T bar so nothing is holding it so can be dropped down if wanted. It is then held flat in place by it's own sprung lugs. I was tempted to move the screen back more so the top section 'clicks' into place and is held once again by it's own sprung lugs
I knew it was a good addition to the car as I have a similar screen on my Volvo convertible and never drive without it in place.
It really has transformed the ride as I didn't like the swirling wind before, now even more a pleasure to drive - highly recommended.
Thanks to Steve (Stagdad) for info in the first place and help since.
