    Head gasket failure

I suppose running three cars with stag engines means that I should be used to the possibility that head gasket failure will rear its ugly head one day

Sure enough, a case of disappearing water, which was held at bay for twelve months with a good dose of Kseal, has suddenly become impossible to ignore as the oil is full of coolant.

Which one of my fleet was the victim you may ask?

Well none of them actually, it is SWMBO's Rover 75 with the 1.8 K series engine, possibly the only engine in history with a greater tendency to eat its head gasket than the Stag, and it has only done 40,000 miles.(dad had it from new)
So next week I venture into the world of knackered Rover engines, makes a change to knackered Triumph ones

At least the k serise engine is easyer to work on than the stag, i have to confess i like working on those engines, how far gone is the gasket??

    Cheers
