Me too, forgot about Popham, working in the garden.

Sailed through MOT on Wednesday, tax from today, could have and should have gone.

        Count me in next year.

        Jeff.

Great - all being well I'll join you next year. Guess I could get there by 10 ish and leave just after lunchtime.

          Cheers

That would be good, the more the merrier it's a great show not too large, a good mix of motor bikes, cars, lorries and a couple of buses this year and other interesting vehicles. there is also a good spread of side stalls as well.

            Ian.

I'll definitely pencil it in for next year. Being an airfield do they also they have planes flying in and out as well? Anything interesting taking off/landing? Being a nice day at Duxford yesterday we were expecting at least a Spitfire or two like last year when the weather was much worse, but surprisingly there was diddly squat. All that was flying was an ancient Dragon Rapide doing "pleasure" flights and what with the extreme gusting wind, pleasure was not a word I would have used for being on that thing! I hope they had a few paper bags on board because it was twitching all over the place when we watched it going up and coming back in!

What was it like traffic wise getting in and out? I took my Stag to the Dunsfold wings and wheels show last year which was a cracking show but sadly the chaos getting out at the end of it put me off forever!

              Bob.

No problem getting in or out at this show. I saw a mustang taxiing but didnt see it fly in; not much else this year, maybe too gusty for them?

Hi Bob, yes there is a few small planes coming and going. I took my Son to Duxford many years ago, must have been nearly 20 i'd say, and they was doing fights in a Dragon then, a dark blue one surely it's not the same one!.

Re Dunsfold I totally agree, I was there last year and whilst it's a good show the lock in rule is a pain the Ar** I won't be doing that one again.

                  Ian.

My mutt loves it when he's in the back with the roof down with his ears flapping in the wind it also saves on the hovering getting the hairs out the car after he's been in it.
