To me it is one more of the beautiful idiosyncrasies that make it a Stag. Along with my indicators that slow at the lights as the current drops at low revs.

Who other than 70's British Leyland could actually right in the owners manual that the flashing fuel light is normal in operation, rather than modify the design?
MG-Rover with the red warning symbol displayed every few minutes (ZT-260 model).

Also, why has no-one mentioned something from to-day's cars/electronics. Surely, cars after Triumph was deleted had the same issue and thus came up with a suitable delay system?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-12V-del...-/221579052508 I bought one of these to operate a fuel solenoid but would work just as well for the fuel light. I saw a couple of weeks ago on Ebay someone selling two delay relays for a Stag fuel light for around £30 each. amazingly someone bought them, that's what you call a mark up

If you go back to post #1 of 94 it'll tell you how to wire it although that was for fitting behind the dash, whereas I think it's been generally agreed that it's better to fit it in the boot now.

Anyway, ask away if you need info later.

            Cheers

                  Whose nicked the eggs

I would only add that any connections in boot must be 1st class, don't want any sparks so close to the tank.
