I was pleased to win a pair of these lamps on e-bay recently and I know that many forum members have them fitted to their Stags, well chaps, where is the best place to take a live feed from? Is their provision in the standard loom for fog lamps? I have a 1973 Mk. 2 model. I will be wiring them through a fuse and relay. Regards, John.

Hi John, well done, they're not the best fog lamps in the world but they do look the biz. I have them fitted. There is a partial loom left over from the Mk1, I think it's brown / yellow, you should be able to find part of it at the bottom of the offside front wing. Details are in the standard wiring diagrams. That's all I can tell you at the moment, when I got mine six years ago, in a fit of enthusiasm to got them on, I took power straight from the battery, and then never got round to doing it properly. Martin.

Hi John,
The Mk1 had a Fog Light position on the master light switch that fed a Red/Yellow wire which exited the loom on the NS inner chassis rail near to the expansion bottle.
In the Mk2, the only provision is the same red/yellow wire but in this case one end is visible under the carpet near the centre console by the driver's left leg. The other end is behind the front valence close to the NSF headlamp wiring.Dave

Btw, Thanks for your post - I had most of my dash out the other day and I was tidying things up. I couldn't, for the life of me, work out what the red and yellow wire was - I was on the point of asking and now you've answered. Thanks Dave
Cheers

Hello again, cannot find any trace of this red and yellow wire (which is not going to be connected at either end, by the sound of it) so the original question still applies - Where shall I take a live feed from (straight from the battery, or is there a position on the standard fuse box?) Many thanks. Regards, John.
