Book Publishing (only partly Stag related)

I know I have raised this subject before - but I think it was about 12 months ago and the situation might have changed. I have now completed the book I was writing (350+ pages) which is an "illustrated" autobiography where cars of various makes and models are just one feature.

I am going to self-publish and am thinking of using "Lulu.com".
I was given a list by some members on here of several other alternative Internet publishing sites, but I have lost it (one was "createspace" I think), but I discounted most of them at the time in favour of Lulu as a local Tenerife author has used them sucessfully in the past.

Anyone on here had experience of Lulu.com, or some other company they would recommend.
I want the book published in A5 format (paperback) and it has to be able to handle the many colour illustrations that are included in it. I am not looking to make a fortune out of it, it is mainly aimed at family and friends and anyone else who may be interested.

The "draft" title of the book is "The Adventures, Life, & Travels of Terry" - "An Illustrated Autobiography".

With my wife being ill, and having to spend so much more time at home, I have now been able to finish the autobiography I was writing, and am currently awaiting a revised "Proof" copy. It's new Title is "Canarian Chronicles" and has a sub-title of "of Cars Computers & Costas". There are quite a lot of car images in the book, as well as photographs taken at various places visited all over the World (in Europe, Asia, America, and the Hawaiian, Caribbean, and Canary Islans etc.), but you will have to get a copy of the whole book to see them all.
Don't be afraid to let me know what you think of the downloadable extract, and if it makes you want to read what happened before and after?
Once I get the second Proof I shall need to read through it and make any revisions before finally publishing, and even if the general public are not interested, I can still use copies to send as Xmas presents to Friends & Family!
