How best to valet one's black upholstery

Having got the exterior of my car 'sparkling' (neighbour's description) I feel the black seats/upholstery to be rather flat and uninspiring. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion as to how best restore them to their deep black original state.

Hiya, any of the quality cleaners will bring them back with a bit of work, AutoGlym is good. You'll need a nail brush to get into the textured part. After cleaning, I use a chamois then let them air dry. This leaves a dull finish, then buff up with a good dry duster. The only way to get them back to "as new" is to use a vinyl dressing, but that leaves the seats slippery so best avoided. Enjoy, Martin.

I use this, Autoglym vinyl and rubber care.It gives the vinyl a deep shine , looks like milk when it goes on. The seats do need to be clean before you put it on.

I took mine out and scrubbed them with a warm soapy solution and nail brush upsidedown To stop too much water getting into the foam. Let them air dry. Then auto glymed them. They still look a little "grey" in places though.
