has anyone purchased door trim panels from aldridges and if so how do they fit, and do they come with holes precut for door handles etc i would appreciate any information regarding this or any other door trim suppliers
they are a great copy
you will however need to buy some rivets from Bresco to secure some trim as you cant salvage them.
its and easy job
one other tip! buy yourself a heavy duty staple gun as you do need to use different size staples.
When you have finished they fit a treat just be patient when you pull the glued foam off, use a blade to cut it rather than pull it off
Good luck
You've lost me on this one! What are the staples, gun and knife actually used for? Aren't the Aldridge panels "plug and play" with the exception of the clips and chrome?
Should have explained
Aldridge do sell the Door Card insert i.e the Board in the panel
They are much cheaper than a full New Door card.
Providing your existing vinyl is ok and your a bit practical you can do both in a half a day.
