one interior light not working

I'm looking for an answer which point me right at the problem.

Interior lights - they all work - I know because activated by the dash switch they all come on (all 4 - 2 Pillars ones and the 2 footwell ones).

When I open the drivers door they all work too

When I open the passenger door, 3 of the 4 work. i.e. not the pillar light on the passenger side.................?????

If it is the centre light on the "T" bar it has 2 bulbs in it,one for each door.

I think you have just answered why my T Bar light doesn't work when I open the O/S door. I knew there were 2 lights but didn't realise that they were one bulb per side.

not sure if we are on the same page here.............. my lights are on each B pillar (one on each side) - are you saying that each has 2 bulbs? or are you referring to the set up in the later cars where the light is in a different position (I think) on the t-bar itself?

Hi Alistair,

I think your problem may be the light switch on the center console as the wiring routes through the switch. Try taking the switch out and wiggling the wires to see if that works.
