    Anemometer. Caeb balancer.

Hving just rebuilt and setup the carbs, I started looking for my old Carb balancer (gunson) when I realised it was shot!. So thinking about it bought one of these 350309713695 from ebay only £15 so I gave it a go....well its magic it makes setting them so much easier, just hold flat against the Carb flange and at about 800 rpm there is about 3.9 to 4.1 Metres per second of air flow into each carb, it does not really matter as it is just a reference I tried Ft per sec but that was just too high a number to easily compare.
Its considerably cheaper than the old Crypton gas flow meters that come up on ebay.
    Give it a try.

    I used this type http://cgi.ebay.com/Weber-Carburetto...item3cb7d0e6fc
it cost me $25 from a US supplier I like the one you show a bit easier to read what did you end up getting for airflow at idle?

      Stuart.
At 750 to 800 RPM it finally ended up at about 3.8 to 3.9 Metres per second I did not look to see what it was in real measurements i.e Ft per second.
