non stop wipers.

hi everyone,just getting my 76 mk2 ready for mot all ok but wipers only stop when i kill ign switch tried another stalk -same any clues?:?

thanks bill going to check it out now.with ref to that thread you asked about doastags ?tried to buy parts on a couple of occasions but all ways sold when i phoned,but with regards to hoods recomend east coast trimmers he advertises in soc mag £720 fitted.got one inapril 07 he rebuilt and retrimmed an old unit when done i picked up and fitted it in about 1 hr with my lad easy and it is superb.cheers steve.

spot on bill it was the tab ,fitted spare all ok now thanks steve.

Brazed the thingy with the tab onto the racktoday, biggest problem was getting some brazing spelter, got lots of blank looks, ended up getting it in in Halfords of all places!

Problem now solved.
