I've gone and seen it this afternoon. Actually went over to see the Porsche 928S2 he has for sale (not to replace the Stag!), thats why I noticed this Stag for sale.
It is in an immaculate, bare shell restoration condition, the gaffer tape is actually heat resistance cloth, and could be removed, together with the 'vents' stuck on the inner wing. Why these have been fitted, I don't know
The last owner transfered the 'H' plate onto the car, it being a '73 mark 1.5, it has mark 1 doors, but mark 2 seats instruments T bar.
The paint job looks fanatastic....if you like the modern pearlesant metalic colour. Personally it does not suit the Stag, but each to their own!
I think he will strugle selling it at that price, purely because of the colour.
All the cars he has for sale are top condition. Must have several million pounds of stock
Most of his business apparently is from the US and Europe, the Stag and the 928 are the cheaper cars he has for sale!
Mightly tempted by the 928.... boy do I love V8's
