I have two 8 x5 speakers in the rear and an eight cylinder one up front...(and four cherry bomb exhaust) guess which wins out!!

The throttle pedal is the closest thing to a "loud" control I need. I can set off other car alarms..

Like John 4d (post #12) I fitted a Retrosound stereo (all in one speaker). Not cheap but works well. Although I took my dash out to fit it, and do other work, others have fitted it by just sliding it across from the passenger side - if you're interested it'd be worth doing a search for Retrosound.

        Cheers

I,m going for two speakers in custom made compartments under the seats . I like this idea rather than cutting the rear cubbies apart . I got the idea from Ian Milothedog awww how i miss hm

                Hi Malc,

Sorry for not responding sooner - I've been away (in the Stag ) for a couple of days.

I'm 95% certain it was this one: http://www.classiccarstereo.co.uk/cl...l-speaker.html maybe someone else who has fitted one can confirm.

Alternatively, this is a close up of a picture of the box I took at the time - hard to read but I think it confirms the above.

                Cheers
