Green or Black?

I have just trimmedmy Paddocksglassfibre TR6 front spoiler to fit the gentle curves of my Stag and am posed with the dilemna of what colour to paint it before fitting.

Tradition should say semi-mattblack as it's a 70s car, but I'm tempted to make it body colour (Java)

Any ideas boys? I'm sure whatever I do it will be the wrong thing first time, but maybe you can help with this:?

I think that the black would look 'unfinished' but hard to tell untill it is in place. Java is quite a distinctive colour so I think the spoiler ought to blend in

Definetly java, or you could try and buy some of that ply from the bloke selling that Herald & see how that looks

I'd opt for the Matt Black finish, personally i think it would be the most appropriate 'period' look

What colour does the spoiler start life?. If its black then no painting with the option to go green later!
