Returned yesterday after spending 12 days in Ireland with the Stag,it was a truly great experience,
Spent the 1st 7 days camping in the far southwest, the people, countryside and the Guinness were great
Then 4 days in the Potlaoise area doing the Gordon Bennett Classic 3 day car run
When we were there we were invited to take part in the Rose of Tralee international festival http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmuZFKwGMXI
Drove a total of 1708 miles 7 tanks of petrol about £400.00 worth.
Averaged 6 pints of Guinness per night(will let you do the calculation)
I can honestly say it was the best country/car event I have been to in a long time
Drove up and down the Healy Pass many times
The car went like a dream and the only bodily fluid used was 1/2 lt of engine oil, she's now sat in the garage very dirty and resting but happy (just like her owner)
Malcolm
Ps if anyone's thinking of going to Ireland ( I can recommend) I have lots of information I can pass on
