    Body shells

I have an early MkII Stag (not tax emempt) the bodywork of which needs lots of work although mechanically it is in good condition. Hence I am considering buying a MkII tax exempt body/body shell for restoration and swapping of the mechanical parts. Are there any pitfalls?

Good idea, the biggest pitfall issearching for something which will bealmost impossible to find. Unlessit's just a little silver and black plate that you are looking to buy.
